  • Glaze:
  • 1 1/2 C. 1 1/2 C. hot water
  • 1 Tbsp. 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. 1 Tbsp. SAF instant yeast
  • 3 1/2-4 cups 3 1/2-4 cups bread flour
  • 2-3 Tbsp. 2-3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp. 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. 1/4 tsp. dill weed
  • 1/8 tsp. 1/8 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • parmesan cheese (can)

Step 1

Combine water, sugar, salt yeast and enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead for 3-4 minutes. Place in a greased bowl and cover. Let rise in a warm spot for 30 minutes or till doubled in size. On a greased countertop, break off pieces of dough and roll into thin ropes. Twist the rope around skewers and place on a greased cookie sheet. Repeat till all dough is used. Let rise 30 minutes, till doubled in size. Bake twists in a 375°F oven for 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with butter glaze.
