Scalloped Potatoes with Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops, inch thick
  • 5 cups sliced, pared potatoes
  • 1 oz., six slices processed American Cheese
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Brown chops on one side. Reserve drippings.
Place half potatoes in greased 13x9x2 pan. Top with cheese slices and remaining potatoes. Place chops, browned side up on potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Cook onions in pan drippings, do not brown. Add soup and milk. Heat and pour over chops. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake 1 hour in 350 oven. Remove foil and continue baking for 30 minutes.
