Skillet Potatoes with bacon and cheddar

  • 4 slices oscar mayer bacon cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 lbs yukon gold potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 c shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 T sour cream


Servings 12


Step 1

Cook bacon in lg. nonstick skillet on med. heat until crisp. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels. Add onions to bacon grease and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in potatoes; cover. Cook on medium-low heat 20-25 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.

Top with chese and bacon; cook, covered 1-2 min. until cheese is melted.

Top with sour cream.
