Ingredients
- 3- 5 LB RUSSET POTATOES
- 8 OZ CREAM CHEESE, DIVIDED
- 8 OZ SOUR CREAM, DIVIDED
- 8 OZ BUTTER, DIVIDED
- 24 - 32 OZ CHICKEN BROTH ( AS NEEDED TO COVER POTATOES )
- 1 TBSP MINCED ONION, MORE TO TASTE
- 1 TBSP GARLIC POWDER, MORE TO TASTE
- 1 - 2 CUP CHIVES
- 1 TSP PEPPER MORE TO TASTE
- 1 TSP SALT
- OPTIONAL
- CRUMBLED BACON

Preparation
Step 1
WASH, PEEL, CUBE POTATOES.
PLACE IN TUPPERWARE TYPE CONTAINER. ADD IN ENOUGH CHICKEN BROTH TO COVER POTATOES. THEN PLACE IN FRIDGE OVER NIGHT.
REMOVE FROM FRIDGE AND PLACE IN 7 QUART CROCK POT. TURN ON HIGH
PLACE LID ON AND COOK ON HIGH TILL TENDER,
MASH POTATOES ADD IN 1/2 CREAM CHEESE, BUTTER AND SOUR CREAM, AND REMAINING INGREDIENTS, MASH AGAIN, LET FLAVOURS MELD TOGETHER AND TASTE,
FOR MORE CREAMY TASTE ASS IN MORE BUTTER, SOUR CREAM AND CREAM CHEESE, FOR MORE GARLIC TASTE ADD MORE GARLIC ADD A LITTLE AT A TIME
TURN TO LOW OR KEEP WARM
SERVE WHILE HOT
