Chili-Lime Grilled Shrimp

Ingredients
- 24 fresh jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 3 tbsp Asian chili sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp fresh black pepper

Step 1
Preheat grill to high.
Rinse shrimp; pat dry with paper towels. Place shrimp in resealable bag set in shallow dish.
For marinade, in a small bowl, combine lime juice, chili sauce, and garlic. Pour marinade over shrimp. Seal bag and turn to coat all shrimp. Marinate in fridge for 15 to 60, turning bag occasionally(the shrimp get spicier the linger they marinate).
Drain shrimp, discarding the marinade.
Thread shrimp onto 4 or 5 skewers, leaving 1/2 inch between pieces. Sprinkle shrimp with salt and pepper.
Reduce heat on grill to medium.
Grill shrimp 7 to 9 minutes, turning once halfway through grilling.
