Shrimp Fettucine

Ingredients
- 1 lb box of fettuccine, cooked and drained
- 1 stick butter, plus 2 - 3 tablespoons for pasta
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3 cups milk
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 clove of garlic, completely mashed, or 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded fresh Parmesan Cheese
- salt to taste
- 2 lbs shrimp, cooked just until done, drained, peeled and deveined, set aside in refrigerator until ready to serve

Preparation
Step 1
Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and add a little butter or oil to drained pasta, keep warm.
In heavy bottomed saucepan, melt the stick of butter. Add flour and cook until flour is light golden. Slowly add mixture of milk and cream, stirring constantly until mixture begins to thicken. Add garlic and cheeses, in small amounts, stirring to blend. Add salt to taste.
Add shrimp to sauce, stirring to warm shrimp.
Serve over fettuccine, adding additional fresh Parmesan if desired.
