Orange Sauce for Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups Water
- 2 Tablespoons Orange Juice
- 1 Cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar
- 2 1/2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 cup plus 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon minced water chestnuts
- 1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 rounded teaspoon chopped green onion(opt)
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 5 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons arrowroot

Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients except cornstarch and arrowroot
heat these ingredients over high heat stir often while bringing to a boil
now allow to cool a bit
take 3 Tablespoons and whisk the cornstarch and arrowroot in the water add to the sauce and heat to a boil until it thickens
