Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup butter room temp.
- 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
- 1 cup half n half
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 baked deep dish pie shell
- lime zest for garnish

Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar, cornstarch, butter, lime juice, zest, and half and half in a large saucepan over medium heat. Slowly bring to a boil stirring constantly, until thick and smooth, cool. Whip heavy cream in mixer bowl until soft peaks form add powdered sugar. Fold in 1 cup of the sour cream. Fold the remaining sour cream in the lime mixture. Pour into pie shell. Top with the whipped cream mixture, garnish with zest, chill until ready to serve.
