Pineapple Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick melted butter (if using microwave, do this gently)
  • 20 oz can drained crushed pineapple, packed in natural juice, not heavy syrup
  • 5 slices, no crusts, cubed white bread

Preparation

Step 1

Mix first three ingredients well.
Add pineapple.
Pour over bread cubes in small sprayed Pyrex bowl.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour. If doubled, use 9X13 Pyrex and it may take up to 75 min.
When it’s done it's puffed up and when a knife is slid in sideways into the center it comes out clean.
