- 1 c. shortening

- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. oatmeal
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 c. chopped nuts

- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped

- 1-1/2 c. instant rice, uncooked
- 1 c. salsa, or to taste
