Garbage Cookies AKA Monster Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c. shortening
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 c. flour
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 2 c. oatmeal
• 2 c. Rice Krispies
• 1 c. chocolate chips
• 1 c. coconut
• 1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together shortening, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder, then add to creamed ingredients.

Add oatmeal, Rice Krispies, chocolate chips, coconut and chopped nuts

Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
