Rustic Tomato Tart

Cook time: 20 Min Prep time: 10 Min Serves: 8-10
- 3 Tbsp mustard or mayonnaise (i used mustard)
- 4 large tomatoes, sliced
- 1/2 tsp garlic
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp each of: basil, parsley, oragno. (combine together)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Pinch red pepper flakes or more if like it with a hot flavor.
- 2 c mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 pillsbury pie crust for bottom
Italian Chicken Soup

Cook pasta according to directions
- 1/2 box pasta, I used Ditalini or a short macaroni type pasta
- 2 C shredded turkey or chicken
- 4 C chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 whole jalapeno, seeded and diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 2 15 oz. cans petite cut tomatoes
- 1 can water
- 1 C heavy cream
- 1 tsp dry oregano
- 1 tsp dry basil
- salt and pepper to taste
Cinnamon Apple Pull Apart Bread

Add all filling ingredients to a large saucepan over medium heat
- Glaze:
- 2 granny smith apples, finely diced and peeled
- 1/3 cup Domino brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon McCormick cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/8 cup Borden half and half
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can Grands refrigerated biscuits
Cheesy Corn Casserole

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 3 cups frozen corn
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 jalapeno peppers, seeds removed and finely diced
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 5 tablespoons butter, melted
- 5 eggs, whisked
- 6 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
Pancakes for Dinner

1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until brown and crisp
- 8 slices bacon
- 1/3 cup finely chopped yellow onion
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 cup frozen corn, thawed
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 cups Krusteaz buttermilk pancake mix (it says just add water on the front of the box)
- 1 1/3 cup water
- vegetable oil, for cooking the griddle cakes
- maple syrup, for serving
Slow cooker Sirloin Tips

In a large bowl combine flour, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper
- 2 lb. beef sirloin, cut into 1 inch cubes, and patted dry
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 TBS vegetable oil
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (15 oz.) can beef broth
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 c. water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Dried Parsley for garnish
BACON CHEESEBURGER SOUP

Serves 8
- pound ground beef, cooked and drained of fat
- 1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 (32 oz.) container chicken broth
- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup carrot, chopped
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, seeds removed, chopped
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, optional
- kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
- bacon, crumbled optional
Slow Cooker Beef Stew

Put the ingredients except for the flour and tomato paste into the slow cooker and stir to combine
- 1 large onion
- 2 medium carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 large potatoes, cut into 1/2" chunks
- 1 cup fresh green beans, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 pound beef stew meat, cubed
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 3 cups beef stock
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 teaspoons tomato paste
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
Coffee Buttercream Frosting

Beat butter and cream cheese together in a bowl with an electric hand mixer until creamy
- 1 c butter (2 sticks or 226g) room temperature
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 lb bag (roughly 8 cups, can lessen to 6) confectioners\' sugar
- 1/2 c unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 c strong brewed coffee, or more to taste
- Pinch salt
EGG DROP SOUP

Whisk together 1 tablespoon cornstarch and chilled or room temperature chicken stock
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 ″ fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon peppercorns
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
