Heat the oil in a 10" skillet over medium-high heat
- 2 cups roasted chicken, cut into strips

- 2 medium onions, halved and thinly sliced (about 1 cup)

- 2 medium carrots, sliced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced

- 1 (14 oz.) jar pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 green bell peppers, diced

- 4 oz. parmesan cheese, shredded

- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
- 4 cups half-and-half, light cream or milk
- 1 1/4 cups shredded american cheese (about 5 oz.)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 slices bacon, crisp-cooked, drained and crumbled
- 2 tbsp. thinly sliced green onion
- 1/4 cup dairy sour cream
