- 1/4 c white wine vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 T coarse ground pepper
- 1 T spicy brown mustard

- 1 t salt
- 2 t horseradish
BJ's Dad's Chili

1. Chop onions, green pepper, and garlic
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lg can chili beans
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 green pepper
- 1 small jar salsa
- 1 pack chili powder
- 10 drops Maggi
- 3 drops Tabasco
- 3 T paprka
- 1 t ground pepper
LIFE Blueberry Banana Muffins

Heat oven to 375º. Coat a standard muffin pan with cooking spray
- Vegetable oil cooking spray
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons fat-free sour cream
- 2 tablespoons lowfat buttermilk
- 1/2 cup oat bran
- 1/3 cup whole-wheat flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups mashed banana (about 3 medium)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen, unsweetened
- 1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest (optional)

Coat a heavy 10-inch skillet or 9-inch square baking pan with vegetable oil and set aside
- Vegetable oil for the pan
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 to 4 tablespoons sugar, optional
- Dash ground chipotle chile pepper or cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh finely chopped jalapeno pepper
