Cracked Pepper Shrimp Alfredo

Get everything ready before starting to cook as it goes together quickly once started
- 6 - 8 ozs. thin spaghetti
- 1 (12-16 oz) bag frozen cooked medium shrimp, thawed and tails removed
- Half a medium red bell pepper, coarsely chopped (2/3 cup)
- 1/2 tablespoon butter (I used salted)
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 4 ozs. (Half of 8 oz. pkg.) cream cheese, cut into pieces
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese (I used Parmesan-Romano blend)
- 3/4 - 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt, or to taste
- Pinch of Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning, optional

- CAKE:
- 1 (16 1/4 ounce) box Betty Crocker Super Moist White cake mix or Golden Vanilla cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare)
- FROSTING:
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 2 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 teaspoon True Lemon crystallized lemon powder*
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
- 1 cup very cold heavy whipping cream
- CRUMB TOPPING:
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup confectioners sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
Cajun Dirty Rice

This is a spicy Cajun rice side dish that goes well with chicken, pork, as well as other meats
- 4-5 cups cold leftover cooked long grain white rice*
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef (I used 93/7)
- 6-8 ounces bulk breakfast sausage (I used 6 cold, cooked leftover Hormel Little Sizzlers, then ground them in food processor)
- 1/3 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
- 1/3 cup finely chopped green onions plus extra for garnish
- 1/2 teaspoon dried celery flakes
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2-3 teaspoons Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning, to taste
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional
- 1/2 cup water, or more if needed for moistness
Chocolate Cherry Krispies

- 2/3 cup dried cherries (cut in halves, if desired)
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds (chopped, if desired)
- 1 2/3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- tiny pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon cooking oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 (16-ounce) package Conecuh brand Original smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 4 large Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 - 3/4inch cubes (then dried with paper towels)
- 1 small onion, chopped (I omitted)
- Olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Little garlic salt, optional
- Paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon dried ground thyme, optional
- White or yellow sharp cheddar cheese, grated (optional)
Cheesy Deviled Spinach

- 1 (12-ounce) bag frozen spinach, chopped
- 2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup onion, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 -to 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper, optional
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- Scant 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 to 3 drops Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

- 1 prepared (or store bought) angel food cake (or vanilla pound cake)(I used Betty Crocker Angel Food cake mix)
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, slightly softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (16 oz) tub frozen sliced sweetened strawberries, thawed
- 1 or 2 drops liquid red food coloring, optional
- 1 (8 oz) tub Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 (1 lb.) carton fresh ripe strawberries, sliced (reserve a few for garnishes)
