- 1 vanilla or butter-recipe yellow cake mix, plus ingredients prepare (I use Betty Crocker's Golden Vanilla)
- 1 small box vanilla or white chocolate instant pudding mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip
- 1/2 pint fresh blueberries (rinsed and drained on paper towels)
- 2 (1 lb) containers fresh strawberries (cleaned, quartered, drained on paper towels)
Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Rice Casserole

Preheat oven to 400° F. Lightly spray an 11x8" baking pan with cooking spray
- 2 cups cooked and chopped (or shredded) chicken
- 3 1/2 - 4 cups cooked rice (cold leftover works well)
- 1 - 2 cups cooked and chopped broccoli florets (I microwaved 2 c. fresh broccoli florets until crisp tender)
- 1 (10 1/2 oz) can cream of chicken (or cream of mushroom) soup (I used 98% F.F.)
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon each, black pepper and salt
- 2 cups (8 ozs) shredded cheddar cheese, divided (I used mild cheddar)

A family favorite cabbage dish
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1 head green cabbage, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 to 1 pound smoked or polish sausage, sliced (I use Conecuh original smoked sausage. Use as much as you like)
- 1 (15 ozs) can petite-diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon creole seasoning, or to taste (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper

- Bran Flakes cereal (I used flakes from General Mills Raisin Nut Bran)
