I was amazed at how well this turned out

  • 1 1/2 cups packaged Bisquick baking mix (I used Wal-Mart's Great Value brand)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 ounces jarred pizza sauce or pasta sauce (I used about half a 14oz jar of Ragu pizza sauce)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, or more as desired
  • Pizza toppings of choice (pre-cook any raw meats) (I browned about 1/4 lb. lean ground beef seasoned with a little salt and pepper)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Pinches of dried Italian seasoning
  • Dash of garlic salt
  • 2 -3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, divided (green can kind)
  • Crushed red pepper flakes, optional
