Warm Apple Pie Bread with Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/3 1/3 1/3 cup white sugar
- 2/3 2/3 2/3 cup brown sugar, divided
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 1/4 1/2 cup applesauce (note: you can use 1/2 cup butter and skip the applesauce if you prefer)
- 2 2 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 1 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 2 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/3 1/3 1/3 cup milk
- 1 1 2 large or 2 small apples, peeled and chopped
- 1 1 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Herbed Chicken & Shrimp

- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 3 to 4 lb. cut up chicken
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1 lb. uncooked medium shrimp, peeled
Cheesy Bacon Chicken Casserole

- 4-5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 strips of quality bacon – cooked and crumbled
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
- 1 box (16 ounces) dried spiral pasta
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste

Raspberry-almond shortbread cookies

1. In a medium bowl beat butter medium speed for about 30 seconds
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup seedless red raspberry jam
- sugar for sprinkling
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 to 4 teaspoons water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract

In a large bowl beat butter and shortening with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. shortening

- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 42 peppermint swirl kisses or milk chocolate kisses (optional)
- 1 recipe Minty Chocolate Drizzle (optional)

- 4 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 tsp. shortening
- 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract

- 1/3 cup brown sugar (not packed)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 apple, peeled and chopped
Classic Macaroni Salad
