Shrikhand Puri

Shrikhand puri is totally delicious & mouth watering dish
- For shrikhand:
- 4 cups yogurt
- 2 cups sugar
- 7-8 saffron strands(kesar)
- 1 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp almonds, pistachios, chopped
- 1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
- For puri:
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1 tbsp oil
- Water as required
- Oil to deep fry
- Salt to taste
Chocolate Cake

Chocolate Cake...........a perfect dessert for Christmas
- For cake:
- 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour (maida)
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter melted & cooled
- 2 tsp pure vanilla essence
- 3/4 cup water
- For icing the cake:
- 175 g unsweetened chocolate melted & cooled
- 125 g butter softened
- 125 g icing sugar
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
Sweet Potato Soup

This soup is easy to prepare, has a slightly sweet taste which kids love
- 2 large peeled sweet potatoes
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 3 cups vegetable stock
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp cream
- Salt & pepper to taste

- 1 cup plain yogurt (I used low-fat home-made)
- 1/2 cup mango pulp
- 3-4 tbsp milk
- 2 tsp sugar/honey (adjust according to the sweetness of the mango)

- 1 cup poha (rice flakes)
- 3 medium potatoes, boiled & mashed
- 2 tbsp refined flour (maida)
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 green chilies finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice

- 2 green chili chopped
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste

Sweet saffron rice is very easy to make and taste great with any meal
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups of water
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 4-5 cloves
- 1/2 tsp seeds of cardamom
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 2 pinch of saffron strands soaked in milk
- 1 tsp chopped almond
- 1 tsp chopped cashew nuts
- 1 tsp raisins
- 1 tsp dry coconut slices
Chole Bhautre

Chole Bhature is mouth-watering, spicy, exotic dish
- For chole:
- 2 cups chick peas/kabuli chana
- 1 cup tomato paste
- 3 medium onions paste
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 green chilies chopped
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tbsp paste of dry coconut powder(mix some water with coconut powder & grind it in mixer)
- 4 tsp oil
- 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
- 3 tsp of chana masala powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tea bag
- 1 1/2 cup water
- Salt to taste
- For garnishing:
- Coriander leaves
- 2 small Onions
- Lemon
- For bhature:

- For vegetable stock:
- 1 onion medium size
- 1 carrot medium size
- 2 inch piece of celery
- 4-5 mushrooms
- 1 tsp oil
- Salt to taste
- For soup:
- 1/4 cup finely chopped carrots
- 1/4 cup green peas
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 1/2 cup cauliflower chopped
- 3 cups vegetable stock
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
- Freshly ground black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
