Yield: 1 mug pie
- 1/2 pound of fresh strawberries
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 of a thawed puff pastry sheet
- 1 egg, beaten
Dark Chocolate Chunk Coconut Key Lime Pound Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F)
- 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour + 2 tablespoons; divided
- 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup plain whole-milk Greek yogurt
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 large eggs + 1 egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons grated lime or key lime zest (about 3 large lime or 4 small ones)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup coconut oil, at room temperature (it should be liquified)
- 1 cup dark chocolate chunks
Maple Oat Scones - Starbucks Copycat

In a large bowl, combine the scone dry ingredients
- For the Scones:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup oatmeal, finely ground
- 1/2 cup oatmeal, coarsely ground
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup chilled butter
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 chopped pecans
- Egg Wash:
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 Tablespoon heavy cream
- Maple Glaze:
- 1 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar (icing sugar)
- 2 Tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon maple extract
Old Fashioned Onion Rings

Heat the oil in a deep-fryer to 365 degrees F
- 2 large onion, cut into 1/4 in slices
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 egg
- 2 cups milk, as needed
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs, dry
- Seasoning salt to taste
- Oil, for frying approx 1 qt

- 11 egg, lightly beaten
- 1cup1 cup milk

German Sauerkraut Soup

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
- 2 smoked ham hocks
- 2 yellow onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 3 quarts water
- 1 lb sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, drained (or substitute thick sliced or diced potatoes if you prefer)
- 1/2 lb bacon, chopped
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

- 4 tablespoons canola oil, divided
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1-1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
