- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, room temperature
- 1 2/3 c. flour
- 2 1/2 t. baking powder

- 1 1/2 c. mild
- 1 t. cinnamon

French Toast Loaf

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 2 cup (1 pint) half-and-half
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 4 cups bread cubes
Dried Cherry-Chocolate Muffins

Make sure all of the ingredients are at room temperature for optimal results
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 8 tablespoons (1-stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 3/4 cup dried cherries
- 1/2 cup toasted, skinned and chopped hazelnuts
Roasted Red Pepper Roll-Ups

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy
- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (12-ounce) jar roasted red peppers, drained and chopped
- 1 (3.8-ounce) can sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 14 (10-inch) flour tortillas
Donna's Wonderful Bruch Casserole

Layer in order: Bacon, Bread, Cheese in greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish
- 14 slices of bread, buttered and cubed (with the crusts cut off)
- (Donna uses Pepperidge Farm, family size loaf)
- 2 oz. or 1 c. Hormel Real Bacon pieces
- 3 c. shredded Velveeta
- 3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 8 eggs well beaten
- 4 c. milk
- 1 t. dry mustard
- 1 t. salt
