Remove the thawed phyllo from the fridge 1 hour before using
- 1 package frozen phyllo dough, thawed in the fridge (see Cook's Note)
- 1 1/2 sticks (12 tablespoons) butter
- 4 cups chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups honey
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
CHOCOLATE MINT BROWNIES

Brownie base: Melt chocolate and butter together
- Brownie base:
- ∙ 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- ∙ 1/2 cup butter
- ∙ 2 eggs
- ∙ 1 cup sugar
- ∙ 1/2 cup flour
- ∙ 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Mint cream:
- ∙ 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- ∙ 3 tablespoons butter
- ∙ 2 tablespoons light cream (or milk) and
- ∙ 3/4 tsp. Peppermint extract
- Chocolate Glaze:
- . 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate (can use chocolate chips)

CROCKPOT JAMBALAYA AND RICE

Cut chicken and slice sausage
- 1 pound chicken, de-boned and cut in 1" cubes
- 1 pound Andouille sausage, sliced
- 1 pound shrimp, cooked (21-25 count)
- 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
- 2 medium onion, chopped
- 2 green pepper, chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp parsley
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup okra, cut into 1/2" pieces
- 2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 cups rice, cooked
Niçoise-Style Chopped Salad

Bring a medium saucepan of salted water to boil over medium-high heat
- 8 oz. green beans, trimmed and halved
- 4 large eggs
- 8 oz. oil-packed canned tuna, drained
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- kosher salt
- Black pepper
- 2 romaine hearts, sliced
- 8 oz. oil-packed canned tuna

Loaded Potato Soup

Set a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 medium yellow onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons flour
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 pounds russet potatoes, chopped
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 cups shredded cheddar

Pioneer Woman's Simple Sesame Noodles

This sesame noodles recipe is quick to prepare and a nice summertime dish
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons pure sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon hot chili oil (or to taste)
- 4 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- 4 whole green onions, sliced thin
- 12 ounces Asian noodles or 12 ounces other thin noodles
Waffled Tomato-Grilled Cheese

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F
- 4 plum tomatoes, halved lengthwise
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- Kosher salt
- 8 slices country white bread
- Melted unsalted butter, for brushing
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 12 slices cheese, such as Cheddar, Swiss, Muenster or a combination

1.Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 heaping tablespoons ground cinnamon
Braised Tri-Tip Roast

- 2 c pureed strawberries

- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt

- 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 c butter, softened
- 3 1/4 c confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 c pureed strawberries
- 1/2 tsp strawberry extract
- 1 c seedless strawberry jam, divided
- sliced strawberries (optional)
