MAGICAL FRUIT SALAD

- Cookies:
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- Frosting:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons milk
