Homemade Summer Peach Ice Cream

1. Combine 3 cups of the frozen peaches with the sugar in a medium-size mixing bowl

- 1 (9.6-oz) can peach nectar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream

Blueberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake with Crispy Butter Streusel

Preheat oven to 350ºF and liberally grease an 8x8 inch pan (or line with parchment for easier removal)
- For the cake:
- 1 stick softened butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- For the cream cheese layer:
- 8 oz. softened cream cheese
- 1/4 powdered sugar
- For the streusel:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons softened butter
- a pinch of salt
Old-School Buttermilk Fried Chicken

Whisk together the buttermilk, Tabasco sauce and cayenne in a large bowl
- 3 pounds chicken pieces (I used 12 drumsticks)
- 1 quart buttermilk
- 1 large onion, thickly sliced
- 1 tbsp Tabasco sauce
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1 handful fresh parsley, roughly chopped
- 1 handful fresh thyme
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp Penzeys Black and Red Spice (or 1/2 tbsp cayenne and 1/2 tbsp ground black pepper)
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp seasoned salt
- 2-3 cups canola oil for frying
Roasted Honey Cinnamon Chick Peas!

Preheat oven to 375 °F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat silicone mat
- 15-ounce can organic garbanzo beans
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
Deviled Egg Chicks

Cut a 1/2'' slice off the top and bottom of each egg (or enough to expose the yolk)
- 12 eggs, hard boiled and peeled
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 carrot, peeled and julienned (for the beaks)
- 3 black olives, diced small (for the eyes)

- 3/4 cup sugar

- 2 vanilla beans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 vanilla bean
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 lb. cold butter
Cranberry Fudge by Deedol

- 3 cups Chocolate Chips
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 Cup dried cranberries
- 1 Cup walnuts or pecans or Lightly Salted Peanuts, chopped, optional
ORANGE FLUFF

Dissolve jello in water in a large bowl
- 2 Boxes Orange Jello
- 1 Cup boiling water
- 1 Cup orange juice
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese (room temp or slightly warmed in microwave)
- 2 Cans mandarin oranges (drain)
- 1 Cup pineapple chunks (drain)
- 1 small container of cool whip

- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 3 cups fresh blueberries (or frozen, but do not thaw!)
