- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch strips
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pre-baked Italian bread shell crust (14 oz.)

- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine or butter, softened

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

- 1/2 cup sugar

- 1/4 margarine or butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Finger-Lickin' Barbecue Chicken

- 3 to 4 lbs. of meaty chicken pieces (breast halves, thighs, and drumsticks)
- 1 and 1/2 cups of dry sherry
- 1 cup finely chopped onion (1 large)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 bay leaves
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 15-oz. can tomato puree
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons mild favored molasses
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
