Soy - Glazed Chicken with Rice Salad

- 1/4 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 and 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons lower-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons cider vinegar

Create a Pan Cookie

A very quick way to make a cookie and serve many people, depending on how you cut the squares of course
- 2 and 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 6 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate morsels ( I use about a 12oz. package)
