Taco Salad

Quick, very simple, and fresh vegetables from your garden
- 1 package of taco seasoning mix
- 1 lb of lean ground beef
- 1 medium head of lettuce or a stalk of romaine torn into bite size pieces
- 1 large tomato - cut into wedges
- 1 small onion separated into rings
- 1/4 cup of chopped green pepper
- 1/2 sliced ripe olives
- 1 4 ounce package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 6 ounce package corn ships
Mom's Apple Crisp

Peel, core and slice apples using apple, peeler/corer/slicer
- 4-6 large Granny Smith Apples
- 8 graham cracker squares (2 and 1/2 -inch each)
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
Triscuit Creamy Bruschetta Spred

Mix cream cheese spread, basil and garlic until well blended
- 1 tub (8oz.) Philadelphia light cream cheese spread
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 medium tomato, chopped (about 3/4 cup)
- 1/2 cup chopped cucumbers (about 1/2 small cucumber)
- 1 small onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
- 4 large black olives, sliced (about 2 tablespoons)
- 2 tablespoons Kraft Free Italian Fat free Dressing
- Triscuit Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil crakers
Twist Macaroni with Sausage

Skin sausage if using links and crumble with green peppers in hot oil until sausage is lightly browned
- 1/2 pound of Italian Sausage in links or ground Italian sausage
- 2 large green peppers cut in slivers
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 3 cups meatless spaghetti sauce
- 8 oz. (3 and 1/2 to 4 cups) Twist macaroni
Toll House cookies

A favorite chocolate chip cookie
- 2 and 1/4 cups unsifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 12 oz. package chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts
So-Easy Lemon Bars

Convenient refrigerated sugar cookies make this recipe very easy
- 1 roll (16.5oz.) Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookies
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 and 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel- (2 medium)
- 1 to 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Zucchini Supreme

Layer the first 4 ingredients in a 9x13 pan
- 4 cups sliced zucchini (leave peals on)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped green peppers
- salt and pepper
- 8 oz. shredded cheese
- 1 lb. cooked hamburger
- 3 cups bread cubes
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Streusel-Pudding Coffee Cake

- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup milk or cold water
- 1 package (3 3/4 ounces) instant pudding and pie filling (any flavor)
Berries and Cream Cake

Set Heart Insert of Springform Pan on sheet of aluminum foil
- 1 angel food cake, cut in 1-inch cubes (about 8 cups)
- 2 packages (0.3oz.) sugar-free strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 package (10oz.) frozen sliced strawberries in sugar
- 1 package (8oz.) light cream cheese
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups light frozen whipped topping, thawed
