Crab Guacamole

A delicious change from plain ol' guacamole
- 4 medium, ripe avocados
- 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature (low fat is okay)
- 1/2 cup sour cream (low fat is okay)
- 1/4 cup fresh salsa (store- bought is fine)
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups crab meat
- Additional lime wedges to squeeze on top
- tortilla chips, for serving
Healthy Quinoa Egg Bake

For the ultimate morning starter this recipe combines two super proteins: quinoa and eggs
- Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon butter or butter substitute
- 1/2 cup uncooked quinoa
- 8 eggs
- 1 1/4 cup nonfat milk
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon chopped thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups packed baby spinach, roughly chopped
- 1 cup finely shredded Romano or Parmesan cheese
Cinnamon Toast Pancakes

These pancakes are loaded with heart-healthy almonds and milled flax seed that is loaded with omega-3 fatty acids
- Batter
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup milled flax seed
- 1/4 cup bulk sugar substitute
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- Cinnamon Sprinkle
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp bulk sugar substitute
- Butter (may use light, trans-fat free buttery spread)
- Fresh blueberries or strawberries, for garnish
Homemade Frappuccino Recipe

STEP TWO: Toss your Frapptastic ingredients into a mixer and blend
- Frappuccino ingredients: makes 2.5 cups (590 mL)
- 1 cup double-strength Starbucks coffee OR 3/4 cup fresh espresso (cold)
- 3/4 cup milk (low fat, 2%, whole or whatever)
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (or to taste)
- 2 cups ice
- Secret ingredient: Pinch of xanthan gum OR 1 teaspoon dry pectin (keeps Frapp from separating)

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 (18 ounce) jar peanut butter
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped peanuts

- 1/2 pound fresh mozzarella balls, sliced

- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice, divided
- 3/4 cup buttermilk at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ORANGE SYRUP
- 1/4 Cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- TRIFLE INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup good raspberry jam
- 2 half-pints fresh raspberries

- 1 C (1/2 pint) cold heavy cream
