Brownie Oreo Mud Cookie Bars

I combined two separate recipes from Pinterest, to come up with this little goodie!!
- i Devils Food Cake Mix
- 1 stick BUTTER
- 1 egg
- 14 Oreo® cookies, broken into coarse pieces
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup macadamia nuts, chopped coarse
- 1/3 mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted
BBQ Beer Chicken in the Crock Pot

Add everything, except the chicken, to the crockpot and stir to combine
- 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 large)
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beer (any kind you like: dark, light, amber, whatever)
- 4 cups (32 ounces) of barbecue sauce (and kind you like)

Turkey Sausage and Baby Bella Oat Crust Quiche

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

- Oat Crust
- Adapted from Food Network's Ellie Krieger
- 3/4 C rolled oats
- 1/2 C whole wheat flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 T butter, cut into small pieces
- 4 T 1% milk
- For the quiche filling, I basically chose everything that Chris and I like, cooked it, and filled the crust. There are SO many ways to alter it, but here's what I did.
- 3/4 lb hot turkey sausage links, removed from casings
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 8 oz baby bella mushrooms, sliced
- 5 oz bag fresh baby spinach
- 4 eggs
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 C milk (I used 1%)
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2/3 C Gruyere cheese, grated
Fake Betty Crocker Oatmeal Cookie Mix

- 1-1/4 oz. (1/2 cup) Dutch-processed cocoa powder (I use Droste)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 4-1/2 oz. (1 cup) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 3 large eggs plus 1 egg yolk, at room temperature
- 2/3 cup olive oil
- 1-1/3 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar for dusting
Carrot Cake

1. Preheat the oven to 350F
- In the beginning, Sheila's mother drove her famous carrot cakes down to Manhattan daily from her Connecticut kitchen. The cake became a Silver Palate classic; it may now become yours as well.
- Butter, for greasing the pan
- 3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1-1 ⁄2 cups corn oil
- 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 cups shelled walnuts, chopped
- 1-1/2 cups shredded coconut
- 1-1/3 cups pur cooked carrots
- 3/4 cup drained crushed pineapple

- 1 package silken or firm tofu (such as 12.3 oz Mori-Nu or Mori-Nu lite)
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 T nondairy milk
- scant 1/8 tsp salt
- 8 to 10 oz chocolate chips (a little over 1 and 1/3c or more)
- 2-3 T agave or other sweetener (When I make this just for me, I omit)
