  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 T Cinnamon

In a large pot, mix all your ingredients together so that salt and honey dissolve in the water

  • 4 thick cut bone in Pork Chops
  • 1/2 cup of course salt
  • 1/3 cup raw local honey
  • 2 bay leaves (fresh or dried but I prefer fresh)
  • 1 TBS crushed black peppercorns
  • 3 cloves of garlic smashed – 4 if your cloves are small
  • 1 medium sweet onion chopped
  • 1 carrot peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flake (optional but trust me worth doing if you can)
  • 1 to 1.5 quarts of filtered cold water (not tap water if yours is chlorinated to death like mine)
