Mushroom Tarts

Mix flour and salt into a medium-size bowl; cut in butter with fork or pastry blender, until mixture is crumbly
- Filling:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter, cut up
- 4 T. ice water
- Mushroom Filling (recipe follows)
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 T. butter
- 1 pound fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- pinch of pepper
- 1 T. cornstarch
- 1 T. water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
Shrimp Monterey

In a skillet over medium heat, saute shrimp in butter 4-5 minutes or until pink
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 2 pounds uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
Slow Cooker Spinach & Artichoke Dip

In a greased 4-qt. slow cooker, combine the first nine ingredients
- 2 cans (14 oz. each) water-packed artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 2 pkg.(10 oz. each)frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 jar (15 oz.) Alfredo sauce
- 1 pkg.(8 oz.) cream cheese, cubed
- 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded Italian cheese blend
- 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 2 garlic cloves, minced

Meaty Pasta Casseroles

Cook pasta according to package directions
- 1 package (16 ounces) penne pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound bulk Italian pork sausage
- 1-3/4 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 2 cans (14-1/2 oz. each) Italian diced tomatoes
- 1 jar (25.6 ozs.) Italian sausage and garlic spaghetti sauce
- 1 jar (25.6 oz.) chunky milk salsa
- 1 package (8 oz) sliced pepperoni, chopped
- 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
- 4 cups (16 ozs.) shredded part-skim mozarella cheese
- 1-1/2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 jar (16 ozs.) three-cheese spaghetti sauce

- 1 cup diced cooked potato
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 bacon strip, cooked and crumbled
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Dash pepper
- l cup diced fully cooked ham

- 1 cup flour
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 6 chicken breast halves (I cut up the chicken into nugget-size pieces)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 3 cups celery, cut in bite size pieces
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 Half & Half
- 1 cup American cheese, grated
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 Tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
Holiday Mashed Potatoes
