  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tblsp. milk

  • 2/3 c. chopped dates
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • I usually double recipe.

Squash Casserole

As directed with ingredients

  • Saute together:
  • 3 cups cooked squash, mashed
  • 1 can mushroom soup, unliluted
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 or more slices bread
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • Mix together and season with salt and pepper to taste, dash tabasco and 1 tsp. Worchestershire
  • Place in buttered casserole. Sprinkle top with crushed Waverly crackers. Dribble with 1/2 stick melted margarine over top and bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 mins.
