Macacroni & Cheese (Shelly's)

Cook macaroni and drain. Cook and stir butter, onion, salt and pepper over medium heat until onion is tender
- 1-1/2 cups of uncooked noodles
- 1/4 c. butter
- small onion
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1-3/4 c. evaporated milk
- 8 oz. velveeta cheese
Barbecued Chicken with Honey Glaze

In large screw-top jar, combine all incredients except chicken and glaze
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1/4 c. orange juice
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1-1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 peppercorns
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 whole chicken breasts, split
- 4 chicken legs including thighs
- 1 recipe Honey Mustard Glaze as follows
- Combine: 1/4 c. honey and 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Meatloaf (Microwave)

Mix together beef, onio, crumbs, egg, ketchup, milk and seasongs
- 1-1/2 lbs. ground chuck beef
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
Apricot-Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Place pork on a rack in a shallow roasting pan
- 2 pork tenderloins (1 lb. each)
- 2 Tbsp.olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 cup apricot preserves
- 3 Tbsp. sherry or reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. minced fresh thyme or 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
Creamy Baked Spinach

Cook spinach according to package directions; drain well
- 2 packages (10-ounces each)frozen chopped spinach
- 2 packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 4 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
Swiss Cobb Salad

In a serving bowl, layer the lettuce, roast beef, ham, tomato, eggs, bacon and cheese
- DRESSING:
- 8 cups torn leaf lettuce
- 1/2 pound sliced deli roast beef, cut into strips
- 1/4 pound cubed fully cooked ham
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
- 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey mustard
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Dilly Cheddar Cubes

Line a baking pan with waxed paper; set aside
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, cubed
- 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
- 2 teaspoons minced chives
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- ....................................
- 2 egg whites
- 24 cubes French bread (8-inch cubes)
Pecan Pie

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
- 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tbsp. milk
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 9-in. deep-dish pie shell, unbaked
- 1 cup pecan halves

- 2 pkgs. crescent rolls
- 2 - 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
Wedding Punch

Combine above. For decoration: orange, lemon or lime slices
- 1 can (12 oz.) frozen lemonade
- 1 can (12 oz.) frozen orange juice
- 2 cans water
- 1 qt. ginger ale, page-dry
- 1 qt. orange sherbet
- 1 large can pineapple juice
