Spinach-Rice Surprise

In covered saucepan simmer water, rice, onion, and salt for 15 minutes
- 2 cups water
- 3/4 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1 tablespoon instant minced onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 10-ounce package frozen chopped spinach
- 4 ounces process American cheese, cubed (1 cup)
Company Casserole

Cook noodles as directed on package
- 8 oz. egg noodles
- l lb. ground beef
- 2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. (8 oz.) creamed cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. dairy sour cream
- 1/3 c. (3 medium) snipped green onions, tops included
- 1 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
- 2 tbsp. margarine, melted
Foolproof Gravy

Pour drippings into a 2-cup measuring cup
- Drippings from 1 roasted turkey
- 1/2 to 1 cup turkey or chicken broth
- 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup fat-free milk
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
- 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
Peanut Butter Milk Shakes

Directions with ingredients
- In a blender, combine 1 cup milk, 2 cups vanilla ice cream, 1/2 cup peanut butter and 2Tbsp. sugar; cover and process for 30 secondds or until smooth. Stir if necessary. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.
Hot Savannah Chicken Salad Casserole

Lightly butter a 13x9x2 inch casserole
- 2 10-3/4 oz. cans condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1-1/2 cups mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcetershire sauce
- 1 10 oz. bag potato chips, crushed
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 4 cups cubed cooked chicken *
- 2 cups diced celery
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
Chicken 'n' Biscuits

In a large bowl, combine the vegetables, chicken, soup, milk, 1 cup cheese and bacon if desired
- BISCUITS:
- 1 package (16 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables
- 2-1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken
- 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup,undiluted
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled, optional
- 1-1/2 cups biscuit/baking mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 can (2.8 ounces) french-fried onions

In a large skillet,cook bacon over medium heat until crisp
- 4 bacon strips, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- Dash pepper
- 2 medium potatoes (about 1-1/2 pounds), cooked, peeled, halved and sliced
- 5 cooked hot dogs, sliced
Pineapple Ham Casserole

Drain pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup juice; set pineapple aside
- 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple tidbits
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese, divided
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
Maple Baked Beans
