Pumpkin Scones

Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. maple syrup
- 1 tblespoon baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter, cold
- 3/4 c. pumpkin
- 1/4 c. milk

Step 1
Mis together maple syrup, pumpkin, and milk and refrigerate.
Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, spices and salt.
Cut butter into the flour mixture using a pastry blender. Add pumpkin mixture and stir gently to make a soft dough. (May need to add a little more flour.) Pat dough into 2 or 3 circles about 1-1/2 inch thick. Cut like a pie into triangles and place on baking sheet or stone. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-14 mins.
