Tortellini Alfredo

Ingredients
- 1 bag (15 oz.) tortellini
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups thickly sliced prosuetto (cubed)
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon parsley

Step 1
1. Cook tortellini according to package directions.** drain well. **If using peas add them to tortellini 2 minutes before finished cooking.
2. Heat butter, minced garlic and prosuetto in large skillet over medium-high heat. Be careful not to burn minced garlic.
3. Add cream, pepper, nutmeg, and garlic salt. Bring to a boil; reduce heat; simmer 7 minutes.
4. Add Parmeasan; cook 2 minutes, until sauce starts to thicken.
5. Add tortellini; cook, stirring, 1 to 2 minutes to heat through.
6. Sprinkle with parsley.
