I have been making this for over thirty years, I don't remember where it came from

  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup white corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon regular salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans (roasted if you like)
  • pecan halves to put on top
  • 1 9 inch pie crust

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon specialty vinegar (tarragon, balsamic, white wine or almost any kind except plain or cider)
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon style mustard (you can add more depending on your taste)

  • 1/4 cup Wishbone Olive Oil Vinaigrette or Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

  • 4 cups package egg noodles
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion or sliced green onion
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

  • 3 (5 ounce) cans tuna, drained

This takes a little time, but is well worth the effort! Not bad leftover, either

  • 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons peanut oil or vegetable oil (divided into 1 Tbl and 1/2 Tbl)
  • 2 large eggs, beaten lightly
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas (preferably baby peas), thawed
  • 1 medium cloves garlic, minced (about 2 teaspoons)
  • 3 cups cooked white rice (cold), large clumps broken up with fingers
  • 3 medium scallions, sliced thin (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts (can use canned)
