LAYERED BEAN DIP

- 1 (16 oz)can fat-free refried beans
- 1 (15 oz)can black beans, rinsed,drained
- 1/2 c reduced fat sour cream
- 1 c bottled salsa
- 1 c (4oz)shredded reduced fat Mexican blend or cheddar cheese

- 3 c cake flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 sticks (6oz) unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 2 c firmly packed light brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 3/4 c milk
- 3/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 1/2 c canned pumpkin(NOT pumpkin pie filling)
- 3/4 c finely chopped walnuts
- 2 8 oz packages cream cheese
- 1 1/2 c confectioners sugar
- 1 tbs molasses
- 1 tbs maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla

1) combine first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to boil
- 1 1/4 c packed dark brown sugar
- 1 1/4 c water
- 2 (3inch) cinnamon sticks
- 4 1/2 c (1/2inc) cubed French bread (8oz)

- 1/4 c slivered almonds, toasted
