Sesame Chicken

Place chicken thighs in 3 1/2 qt slow cooker
- 3 pounds skinless chicken thigh
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sherry
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
Turkey Artichoke Dip

Finely chop turkey and place in a large bowl
- 1 cup cooked turkey
- 14 ounces canned artichoke hearts
- 1 cup light mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 5 shakes cayenne
Slow Simmering Pork Sandwiches

Trim fat from roast. Cut in necessary to fit in a 4 qt slow cooker
- 3 pounds pork shoulder roast
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili sauce
- 3 cups barbecue sauce
- 12 kaiser rolls or hamburger buns
- red onion, sliced
- dill pickle
Herbed Pork Roast

In a large oven cooking bag or resealable plastic bag, combine the first 8 ingredients
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons dried tarragon
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried chives
- 1 teaspoon ground sage
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 3 1/2 pounds boneless pork loin roast
Wine and Cheese Sauce

In a small saucepan bring milk to a simmer
- 1/2 cup BC white wine
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- dash cayenne pepper
- 3/4 cup cheese, grated
- salt, to line pastry pans
Canned Tomatoes

Tomatoes may be left whole or cut up
- 5 1/2 lbs ripe tomatoes, stem ends and cores removed, peeled
- 1 T bottled lemon juice (not fresh), per pint
- 1/2 tsp coarse (pickling) salt, per pint
- 1/2 tsp granulated sugar, per pint
Favourite Waffles

In small bowl, beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry
- 2 eggs, serarated
- 1 1/2 C milk
- 1/2 C vegetable oil
- 1 3/4 C flour
- 1 T baking powder
- 1 T sugar
- 1 tsp salt
Showy Meatloaf

Place first 9 ingredients in large bowl Mix well
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 large eggs
- 2 fresh bread slices, blended to coarse crumbs
- 1/4 C ketchup
- 1/4 C milk
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp whole oregano
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 6 thin slices of cooked ham
- 10 oz frozen spinach thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 mozzarella cheese slices, cut in half diagonally
Tiny Cheese Puffs

Preheat oven to 400. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- pinch cayenne
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter, cut in pieces
- 4 eggs
- 3 ounces gruyere cheese, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
Lemon Pepper Marinade for Chicken

In large bowl whisk together all ingredients
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon rind
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon coarsely cracked black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper
