- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1 1/4 pounds semisweet chocolate chunks, such as Nestle's

Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Vanilla Glaze:
- 3 c. cake flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. (2 sticks) butter...softened
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 4 large eggs...room temp.
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 c. white granulated sugar (optional)
- 1/4 c. sweetened coconut flakes (optional)
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 4 tbs. butter...melted
- 4 tbs. canned evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. lemon extract

1.Whisk to combine flour and salt in a bowl
- •3 cups all-purpose flour
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- •3/4 cup sugar
- •1 teaspoon almond extract
- •1 large egg
- •1/4 cup sliced natural almonds
