Combine flour and sugar in a large bowl
- 3 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. cold butter
- 4 tsp. baking cocoa
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- 2 c. buttermilk
Banana Sticky Muffins

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 3 Tbs. brown sugar
- 1 Tbs. sour cream
- 1/2 c. broken pecans
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. salt
White Chocolate Cheesecake with Brandy Sauce

- 4 oz. white chocolate
- 3 8-oz. packages cream cheese
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. cream
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. finely chopped white chocolate
- 2 oz. brandy
Baked Onion Casserole

- 4 large Vidalia onions, sliced 1/2" thick
- 1 stick butter
- 2/3 c. chicken broth
- 2 Tbs. flour
- 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar
- 2 Tbs. Parmesan
- 1 Tbs. sherry
Hearty Italian Soup

A meal-in-a-bowl winter soup!
- Topping:
- 1 lb. Italian or pork sausage
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 28 oz. tomatoes
- 2 8-oz. cans tomato sauce
- 2 8-oz. cans water
- 1 Tbs./3 cubes chicken bouillion
- 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 3/4 c. macaroni or broken spaghetti
- Shredded cheese (Swiss, mozzarella, Parmesan, etc.)
Cloud Nine Waffles

Be sure to use a large bowl! Pour the warm water into the bowl and add the yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm milk
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Pork Tenderloin a la Creme

Fry bacon until limp. Wrap around edge of tenderloin
- 8 strips bacon
- 8 slices pork tenderloin, 2" thick
- 1/4 c. brandy
- 2 tsp. dry mustard
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
- 2-3 Tbs. beef bouillion granules
- 2 c. cream
- 2-3 Tbs. flour
- 1/4 lb. mushrooms, slices
Texas Caesar Salad

Puree first nine ingredients until smooth
- 2/3 c. chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 c. plain yogurt
- 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
- 1/4 c. Parmesan
- 1/4 c. chopped shallots
- 2 anchovy fillets
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 3/4 c. olive oil
- 8 c. romaine
- 3 c. salad croutons
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 c. corn
Amaretto Peach Ice Cream

Scald milk until bubbles form around edges of pan
- 2 c. milk
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. half and half
- 1 T. vanilla
- 4 c. whipping cream
- 1/2 c. Amaretto
- 1/2-1 tsp. cinammon
- 4 c. fresh peaches (half--pureed; half--diced)
