Combine all ingredients and let stand in refrigerator overnight
- Sauce:
- 6 large eggs, beaten
- 6 c. whole milk
- 2 c. sugar
- 10-12 c. 2" cubes of day-old French bread
- 2 Tbs. vanilla
- 2 Tbs. brandy
- 1 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 2 c. half and half

- Topping:
- 16 oz. sour cream
- Sugar to taste

Chicken Piccata

Pound chicken breasts until 1/4" thick
- 4 skinless chicken breasts, deboned
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2-1 c. flour
- 6 Tbs. butter
- 2 Tbs. olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-1 1/2 lbs. mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 4 tsp. lemon juice
- 3/4 c. dry white wine
