Ingredients

  • 4

    large Vidalia onions, sliced 1/2" thick

  • 1

    stick butter

  • 2/3

    c. chicken broth

  • 2

    Tbs. flour

  • 1 1/2

    c. soft bread crumbs

  • 1/2

    c. grated Cheddar

  • 2

    Tbs. Parmesan

  • 1

    Tbs. sherry

Directions

Saute onions in butter until transparent. Add flour to make a roux. Add liquids. When slightly thickened, place in greased casserole and top with crumbs and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
