Horseradish Crusted Prime Rib

- Horseradish and Salt Crust:
- Ingredients
- 1 (3-rib) prime rib beef roast, about 6 pounds
- 4 red onions, halved
- 4 carrots, cut in chunks
- 4 parsnips, cut in chunks
- 2 heads garlic, halved
- 1/2 cup prepared horseradish
- 5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary, chopped
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 Tbs. kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
Banana Bread

Cream the sugar and butter together
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 4 very ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/3 c. buttermilk
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. chopped nuts

- 1 1/2 lb. tomatoes, 1/2" slices
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 4 c. corn (6-8 ears)
- 1 c. whole milk
- 1/2 c. cream
- 2 c. fresh breadcrumbs
- 1/2 c. chopped basil
- 1/2 c. Parmesan

Cinnamon Rolls

Dough: Warm 1/2 c. water and the milk to 100-110 degrees
- Filling:
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 1/4 t. yeast (1 pkg.)
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 T. butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 3/4 t. salt
- 1 1/2 sticks (12 T.) butter, softened, plus more for pan
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 T. cinnamon
- Glaze:
- 1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 4 T. butter, melted
- 3 T. milk
- 1/2 t. vanilla
- Pinch of salt
Cherry Brie Appetizer Cups

Directions: Unfold puff pastry; cut into 36 squares
- Ingredients:
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup cherry preserves
- 4 ounces Brie cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 2 tablespoons minced chives

- 3 large bell peppers
- 2 Tbs. plus 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne
- 2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbs. minced garlic
- 3 Tbs. wine vinegar
- 1/2 lb. pasta, cooked
- 1 c. coarsely chopped celery
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cans tuna, 7 oz. each, packed in olive oil
- 1/2 c. finely chopped parsley
- 4 Tbs. fresh chopped basil (opt.)

- 6 slices cucumber
- 2 Tbs. alfalfa sprouts
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. red wine vinegar

- 1 leaf lettuce
- 1 oz. pepperoncini, sliced

- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt

- 1 c. grated Gruyere
- 1/4 c. chopped green onion
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. chives
- 2 Tbs. horseradish
- 1 Tbs. lemon
- 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
