Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Use this recipe. I turns out perfect every time
- Dry Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup dutch processed cocoa
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 t baking powder
- 1/4 t baking soda
- whisk together
- In another bowl, melt together:
- 4 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 4 T unsalted butter
- Wet Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 4 t espresso powder (opt)
- 1 t vanilla extract
- Add melted chocolate to wet ingredients
- Fold in dry ingredients.
- Let sit on counter for 10 minutes.
- Roll in balls (about 2 T. or #30 scoop). Roll in granulated sugar. Roll in powdered sugar.
- Bake at 325° for 12 minutes. Rotate pan 1/2 way thru baking.
Meringue Cookies

3 large egg whites (1 T. dry egg white powder + 3 T
- Ingredients:
- Chocolate Chip Meringues
- 3 3 3 egg whites (1 T. powdered egg whites + 3 T. water)
- 1/8 1/8 1/8 t. cream of tartar
- 1/8 1/8 1/8 t. salt
- 1 1 1 t. vanilla
- 3/4 3/4 3/4 C. sugar
- 1 1 1 C. mini chocolate chips (or nuts, dates, raisins)
Chocolate Oatmeal Breakfast Cookie

- 1/2 cup mashed banana
- 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (Nutella)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup raisins or other dried fruit
- 1/2 cup quick rolled oats
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup nonfat dry milk
Protein Shake

- 1/4 cup chocolate-flavored Slimfast powder

Sausage, Cornbread and Chestnut Dressing

My husband's favorite Thanksgiving dressing
- 8 cups cubed day-old cornbread (1")
- 2 cups cubed day-old country-style white bread (no crusts)
- 1 1/2 lb. mild Italian pork sausage, casings removed
- 1-2 Tablespoons olive oil, if needed
- 1 yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
- 1 cup French chestnuts, quartered (slivered almonds)
- 1/4 cup chopped mixed fresh herbs, ie; sage, rosemary,
- thyme
- 3 cups low sodium chicken stock
- Salt and pepper to taste
7-UP Biscuits

Cut sour cream into biscuit mix, add 7-Up
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup 7-up
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Punch for a Crowd

- 1 3 oz. strawberry jello
- 4 c. boiling water
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large can frozen lemonade
- 1 48 oz pineapple juice
- 1 2 liter ginger ale
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Bake at 375° F. for 12-15 minutes
- Cream together:
- 1 1/2 cup shortening
- 3 eggs
- 1 large can pumpkin (28 oz)
- 4-5 cups chocolate chips
- Sift together:
- 3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 5 cups flour
Focaccia Herbed (Focaccia alle Erbe)

- 2 1/2 tsp. (1 package) active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water (105° to 115°F)
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 6 Tbs. olive oil
- 5 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh thyme or 1/4 tsp. dried
- thyme
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary or 1/4 tsp. dried
- rosemary
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh sage or 1/4 tsp. dried sage
- Coarse salt, to taste
