Meringue Swirls

Mix fresh vanilla bean seeds and citrus zest into the meringue cookies
- 3 large egg whites, room temperature
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 vanilla bean, seeds scraped
- Large pinch of salt
- Large pinch of cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon finely grated fresh orange zest
- Gel-paste food coloring, in orange
Whole Wheat Bread (Lisa's)

This is a soft, chewy, tender loaf of wheat bread
- 14 cups (about) whole wheat flour
- 2 rounded Tablespoons dry yeast
- 6 Tablespoons gluten flour or Dough enhancer
- 6 cups hot water 120°
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup honey
- 11/2 - 2 Tablespoons salt
- Makes 5-6 loaves
Key Lime Pie with Pretzel Crust

It's easiest to remove the lime zest from whole limes so start with that
- INGREDIENTS FOR THE CRUST
- 1 cup + 2 Tbsp. pretzel crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 7 Tbsp. butter (melted)
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9" pan with non-stick baking spray.
- Crush the pretzels until very fine; processing in a food processor for about 30 seconds works well.
- Add the sugar and melted butter, mixing to combine; you can do this right in the food processor.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pan.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes; the crust won't change color much, but will firm up. Remove from the oven and make the filling.
- INGREDIENTS FOR THE FILLING
- ½ cup fresh lime juice (3 to 4 limes)
- 4 tsp. grated lime zest
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

- 4 boneless Chicken breasts
- 4 slices deli ham
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
Pepperoni and Sausage Stromboli

Spray counter or board with non-stick cooking spray
- 1 Loaf Rhodes™ Frozen Bread Dough, thawed to room temperature
- 1/2 c. pizza sauce
- 1/2 t. dried oregano
- 1/2 t. dried basil
- 3 oz. sliced pepperoni
- 1 lb. sausage, cooked & drained
- 3 T. chopped onion
- 2 c. grated mozzarella cheese
- 3 T. grated Parmesan cheese
- Sesame seeds, if desired
Mexican Party Rice

This make a lot. Perfect for a Cinco de Mayo party
- Add to roaster with:
- 1 large can (29 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 large can (29 oz) tomato paste
- 1 small can (4 oz) diced green chilies
- 2 large onions (or 1/3 cup onion powder)
- 1/2 cup minced garlic (or 1/3 cup garlic powder)
- 1/2 cup powdered chicken base (bulk foods)
- Puree in blender
- #10 can water (96 oz.)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- Bring to a boil.
- Add:
- #10 can converted rice
Crock pot Hot Cider

Tie cloves and allspice in cheesecloth
- 1 gallon apple cider
- 1/2 cup light or dark brown sugar
- 1 (6 oz) can lemonade concentrate
- 1 (6 oz) can orange juice concentrate
- 1 Tablespoon whole cloves
- 1 Tablespoon whole allspice
- 1 to 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Oranges sliced for garnish, if desired
