Ingredients
- BASE:
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- FILLING:
- 12 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 tsp vanilla
- TOPPING:
- 2 cups apples, finely sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup sliced blanched almonds (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
BASE: Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Mix in flour. Press into 9x9 pan or springform pan. Bake at 325 for 10-15 minutes. (Double base for 9x13 pan and 1 1/2 times filling)
FILLING: Beat cheese, add sugar and cream well. Add eggs and vanilla and beat thoroughly. Pour over baked base.
TOPPING: Mix sugar, cinnamon and apples. Spoon over cheese filling and top with almonds. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
