• 1 cup shortening
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg, unbeaten
• 1 1/2 teaspoons orange extract
• 1 1/2 cups flour

Cream shortening & salt. Add sugar gradually. Add egg and beat well. Add orange extract then flour. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes
