Ingredients

  • 2

    cups sliced and peeled tart apples

  • 2

    cups frozen blueberries

  • 1

    cup sugar

  • 2

    tablespoons flour

  • 2

    tablespoons butter

  • 1/2

    teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4

    teaspoon nutmeg

  • 2 to 3

    tablespoons lemon juice

  • a 9-inch pie shell

  • Topping:

  • 2

    tablespoons flour

  • 2

    tablespoons butter

  • 1

    tablespoon sugar

Directions

Combine all ingredients and place in the pie shell. Mix topping ingredients together and sprinkle over the top. Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes then 350°F for 30 minutes more.
