    pkg yellow cake mix

  • 2

    cups cold milk

  • cups water

  • 2

    pkgs (4 oz ea) lemon flavor instant pudding and pie filling

  • cup granulated sugar

  • 2

    tbsp powdered sugar


Preheat oven to 350. Prepare cake mix as directed on package, pour into greased 9x13 pan. Pour milk and water into lg bowl, add dry pudding mixes and sugar, beat with wire whisk 2 min, pour over cake batter. Place baking dish on cookie sheet to catch drippings. Bake 55-60 min or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 20 min, it will thicken, then sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm or cold. The lemon filling transforms from saucy to gooey to thick and custard-like....
